Joanne Chan is a versatile composer with a diverse educational background, currently focusing keenly on screen scoring. She holds a Master's degree in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games from Berklee College of Music. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, major in Composition.
She recently composed scores for several films and television shows, including "When a Snail Falls in Love" and "Did I." Beyond screen scoring, Joanne Chan has showcased her versatility in concert music composition. She composed for the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups drama show, and her Cantonese choral piece, "Corona Rhapsody," was featured in the Aqua Voice 10th Anniversary Concert and the Hong Kong Children’s Choir 2022 Gala Concert. Additionally, her composition "Dream Land" received recognition in the Japan International Choral Composition Competition and was performed by the Hong Kong Children’s Choir Chamber Youth.
